The Neighborhood Fund: Neighbor helping neighbor. That's it.
At Irvington Wellness Center, we believe wellness isn't meant to be exclusive. It's meant to be shared. The Neighbor Fund exists to make that real.
This fund is our way of helping neighbors help neighbors. Donations go into a general pool that provides scholarships and reduced-cost access to services like Tai Chi, yoga, movement classes, and caregiver-focused self-care offerings. It's simple. It's quiet. It's rooted in trust.
Why Caregivers?
Caregivers give so much. Parents, partners, adult children, helpers, healers: they often put their own well-being dead last. Not because they don't value it, but because someone always needs them first.
The Neighbor Fund centers caregivers intentionally. A class. A session. A moment to breathe. These aren't luxuries. They're essential. When caregivers are supported, families are steadier, communities are healthier, and everyone benefits.
How It Works
Your donation helps provide access to:
Tai Chi and movement classes
Yoga and breath-based practices
Caregiver self-care services
Other select offerings as needs arise
You can give to the general fund or nominate a specific person to receive support. Sometimes we know exactly who could use a nudge, a boost, or a soft place to land. We welcome those nominations and hold them with care.
Every contribution, big or small, helps build a more accessible, compassionate wellness community right here in Irvington.
An Invitation
Giving to the Neighbor Fund is an act of trust. It says: you matter, you belong, and care is something we do together.
Thank you for helping us extend the circle.
